Lucinda West holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Warner
Southern College, a Masters of Arts degree in Marriage and
Family Therapy from East Tennessee State University, and
is working on her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision
through Regent University's School of Psychology and Counseling. She is duly licensed in the State of Florida as a Marriage
and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Mental Health Counselor
(LMHC).
After earning her Master of Arts Degree in 1990, Mrs. West
worked as a marriage and family therapist and mental health
counselor for 11 years. In 2001, the West family moved
overseas to work with pastors, plant new churches, recruit
and train leaders, and counsel with people as the needs
arose. They lived on the Gold Coast of Australia for
three and a half years. The Wests have been Lakeland,
Florida residents since August 2005.
Mrs. West is married to her husband of twenty-two years.
They have two children: a 15-year old son and a 9-year old
daughter. Mrs. West loves the outdoors, or anything
to do with nature, spending time with her family, and traveling.
Her favorite trip was a family trip-around-the-world through
London, Cairo, Bangkok, and Australia. She also enjoys
working in the church nursery, conductiong Bible studies,
playing keys in the church band, composing music and singing.
